Roma, 22 novembre 2021 – Reclutati in gran fretta e senza troppi “formalismi” contrattuali per poter fronteggiare l’emergenza pandemica, sono ormai diverse decine di migliaia gli infermieri italiani da stabilizzare e oggi più che mai è evidente che per il personale sanitario serve un salto di qualità nel loro rapporto di lavoro.
E questo per molte ragioni, a cominciare dal fatto che “riconoscere” ciò che hanno fatto in questo anno e mezzo, vuol dire riconoscere la loro professionalità e non dispensare “medagliette”. Radio Anmil ha dedicato a questo tema l’intera puntata di venerdì 19 novembre, chiamando a rendere testimonianza alcuni infermieri e i rappresentanti dei loro sindacati di categoria. A cominciare da Michele Pontone e Vittorio Sotgiu della Segreteria del FLEPAR INAIL; Sabatino De Sanctis, Medico del Lavoro; Cristiano Romani, infermiere di Arezzo; Massimiliano Conte, infermiere del Pronto soccorso del San Camillo di Roma e per il Nursind, Laura Rita Santoro, infermiera e rappresentante di Nursing Up.
La regolarizzazione degli infermieri è una questione di rispetto e di giustizia, ma rappresenta anche un passaggio necessario se si vuole immaginare una sanità del futuro più funzionale e meno “porosa” rispetto ai rischi sanitari. Da una parte vanno arginate definitivamente le forti carenze di organico e dall’altra meritano di essere riconosciuti anche i nuovi ruoli che sono emersi affrontando le emergenze, come il caso dell’infermiere di famiglia.
Il Covid ha di fatto laureato sul campo migliaia e migliaia di operatori sanitari e questa professione ha preso per forza di cose un carattere autonomo.
La stabilizzazione non sarebbe altro che la constatazione che solo rafforzando il senso di appartenenza ad una categoria si possono ottimizzare performance e risultati concreti in tutti i campi del sistema sanitario. “Siamo stati un supporto vero per i disabili”, ha sottolineato Sotgiu, mentre secondo De Sanctis, a questo punto quello che manca “è un concetto giusto di prevenzione che sappia fare economia reale e una strategia che dislochi gli interventi dall’ossessione nelle emergenze”.
Pontone ha sottolineato che questo è il momento giusto per mettere a posto le cose. Manca all’appello l’unità della categoria, ma c’è un vivace fermento sulle varie posizioni”.
Infine è stato sottolineato il grande ruolo che nuove figure di infermieri possono svolgere proprio per la lotta agli infortuni sul lavoro pur considerando come lo stesso tema degli infortuni sul lavoro sia, dal Covid in poi, tutto interno alle aziende sanitarie.
Infine per Santoro “è arrivato il momento di combinare i criteri di calcolo per far emergere la realtà vera all’interno di ospedali e ambulatori”.
