Il 13 Ottobre si è celebrata a Verbania la 69° Giornata Nazionale le Vittime degli Incidenti sul Lavoro. Alla manifestazione hanno preso parte le massime Autorità locali e circa 100 infortunati della provincia.
La Giornata si è svolta con il Patrocinio della Prefettura, della Provincia del Verbano Cusio Ossola, del Comune di Verbania, del Comune di Omegna, del Comune di Gravellona Toce, del Comune di Vogogna, dell’INAIL Direzione Provinciale, Verbano Cusio Ossola, dell’INPS Istituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale, Unione Industriali, Verbano Cusio Ossola.
Erano presenti l’On. Marella Cristina; Il Vice Prefetto Vicario Gaetano Losa; il Vice Presidente della Provincia V.C.O., Presidente A.N.C.E. V.C.O. e Vice Presidente Unione Industriale, Rino Porini; l’Assessore del Comune di Verbania Cultura e Lavoro, Riccardo Brezza; il Presidente del Consiglio Comunale di Omegna, Tiziano Buzio; il Presidente della Fondazione Comunitaria V.C.O., Maurizio de Paoli; il Consigliere delegato del Comune di Gravellona Toce, Mattia Nobile; il Direttore del INAIL locale, Giuseppe La Padula; la Responsabile INAIL locale, Franca Cavallo.
Il dott. Genova,ortopedico del INAIL; il dott. Marco Ronco, Patronato ANMIL; la dott.ssa Tancorra, Ispettorato del Lavoro; il dott. Russomanno, Ispettore del Lavoro; la dott.ssa Mimma Larosa, Ispettore del Lavoro; la dott.ssa Tania Balzani, Direttore INPS locale; la dott.ssa Angione Antonella, Funzionario INPS.
La Giornata ha avuto inizio alle ore 10.00 con ritrovo dei partecipanti presso il Monumento del Milite Ignoto (Corso Mameli) per la deposizione della corona di alloro. Il Corteo, preceduto della Banda Musicale di Casale Corte Cerro, si è trasferito presso la Piazza S. Vittore. Alle ore 11.15, Don Costantino Menea ha celebrato la Santa Messa in suffragio dei Caduti sul lavoro. Al termine della funzione religiosa, il corteo si è recato presso la Sala Convegni nell’Hotel il Chiostro dove il Presidente Territoriale Giovanni Mirici Cappa, salutando i partecipanti nonché le autorità presenti, a partire dal dott. Riccardo Brezza che rappresentava la Citta di Verbania, ha tenuto la consueta relazione annuale.
Le Autorità presenti hanno aperto un acceso dibattito per la sicurezza sui posti di lavoro. Al termine della Cerimonia sono stati consegnati, da parte del Direttore del INAIL della sede di Gravellona Toce Giuseppe La Padula, un Brevetto e un Distintivo d’Onore ad un Invalido del territorio. I presenti si sono poi trasferiti nella sala da pranzo del ristorante il Chiostro, dove si è svolto il consueto pranzo sociale che è stato onorato della presenza di alcune delle Autorità intervenute alla cerimonia civile.
