17 ottobre 2019 – Si è svolta nel comune di Tortona la 69ª Giornata Nazionale in memoria delle Vittime sugli incidenti del lavoro per la Provincia di Alessandria.
Molte le autorità che si sono unite alla nostra Associazione in questa ricorrenza, tra le quali il Sindaco di Tortona Federico Chiodi, il Vice Sindaco Flavio Monreale e l’Assessore alle Politiche Sociali Marzia Damiani. Hanno preso parte ai lavori anche l’Onorevole Rossana Boldi, l’Onorevole Enrico Fornaro, il Direttore dell’INAIL di Alessandria, Dott. Daniele Maria Bais e una rappresentanza del sindacato UIL.
La cerimonia si è aperta con la Santa Messa celebrata nel Duomo cittadino da Monsignor Viola. Un’omelia durante la quale è stata letta la preghiera del mutilato e un sermone incentrato sulle tante morti che si verificano odiernamente nei posti di lavoro.
A questa è seguito il dibattito svoltosi nell’Istitito Alberghiero Santa Chiara dove è stata trattata la tematica del turismo accessibile. I lavori si sono aperti con l’intervento del Presidente Terriroriale Elio Balistreri. Commozione ha suscitato il suo saluto a tutti i presenti e ai membri del Consiglio Provinciale uscente a seguito della fine del suo mandato. Il Presidente ha tenuto a sottolineare come il suo sarà solo un arrivederci e non un addio in quanto rimarrà comunque sempre all’interno dell’Associazione per affiancare coloro che, a seguito delle nuove elezioni, rappresenteranno l’ANMIL nel territorio della nostra Provincia. La manifestazione si è quindi conclusa con la consegna dei Brevetti e degli Attestati ai grandi Invalidi da parte del Direttore dell’INAIL.
La Giornata si è conclusa con il pranzo sociale organizzato dai ragazzi che frequentano l’Istituto Alberghiero che con grande professionalità hanno gestito il servizio nonostante la loro giovane età.
