Livorno 8 marzo 2021 – Giornata Internazionale delle donne: un flash mob di soli uomini contro la violenza sulle donne.
Il sindaco di Livorno Luca Salvetti, il prefetto Paolo D’Attilio, il questore Roberto Massucci, il Colonnello Massimiliano Sole comandante provinciale dei Carabinieri, il comandante Provinciale della Guardia di Finanza Colonnello Gaetano Cutarelli, gli assessori della Giunta; il presidente del Consiglio comunale e i Consiglieri, lunedì 8 marzo, alle ore 18, sono stati i protagonisti di un flash mob tutto al maschile in piazza del Municipio.
Le principali istituzioni e associazioni cittadine hanno risposto così al “grido-provocazione” della giornalista Milena Gabanelli che aveva detto: «Ne ammazzano una al giorno, uomini dove siete?». L’evento in piazza del Municipio si è svolto nel rispetto delle normative Covid.
I partecipanti indossavano, come simbolo della violenza sulle donne, una mascherina rossa, donata dalla vicesindaca Libera Camici, che ha la delega alle Pari Opportunità.
I manifestanti hanno esibito cartelli con frasi simboliche contro la violenza sulle donne.
L’ANMIL Livorno, nella persona del Presidente Stefano Di Bartolomeo ha omaggiato le donne presenti, consegnando alla vicesindaca e consigliera Libera Camici un mazzo di fiori.
Al flash mob presente anche la consigliera di parità della Provincia di Livorno Cristina Cerrai e le associazioni che si occupano della disparità e della violenza di genere.
Al calare del sole Palazzo Comunale si è illuminato di rosa. Un colore positivo, simbolo di speranza che dà sicurezza e ottimismo verso il futuro ed è associato alla femminilità.
