17 marzo 2022 – Martedรฌ 8 marzo in occasione della Giornata della Donna, le sedi territoriali di Ragusa e Catania hanno organizzato presso il Giardino Rosa un convegno dal titolo: “Diritti delle donne rischi infortunistici e tutela del lavoro”.
I lavori sono stati aperti dai Presidenti territoriali di Ragusa e Catania, Maria Agnello e Salvatore Platania che hanno salutato e ringraziato tutti gli intervenuti.
Per lโANMIL erano presenti i Consiglieri territoriali di Ragusa e Catania, i Soci, il Presidente Regionale ANMIL Sicilia Antonino Capozzo, una rappresentanza della sede di Agrigento e una delegazione di Gela.
Le autoritร convenute sono state: la Dott.ssa Rosa Cappello in rappresentanza della Questura di Ragusa, il Sindaco di Modica Dott. Ignazio Abbate, il sindaco di Acate Dott. Giovanni Di Natale, lโ assistente sociale dellโ Inail di Ragusa Dott.ssa Francesca Mangiapane, lโOnorevole Stefania Campo, lโassessore del Comune di Ispica Iuliana Schuller, lโassessore Francesco Barone e la consigliera Dott.ssa Raimonda Salamone del Comune di Ragusa. Sono successivamente intervenute con una testimonianza unโinfortunata di Catania nonchรฉ consigliera territoriale Giuseppa Fichera ed unโorfana di Ragusa Natalia Iacono le quali hanno raccontato il proprio vissuto di infortunata e di superstite.
Il Presidente Platania ha evidenziato che durante la pandemia il settore piรน colpito รจ stato quello femminile in quanto la pandemia ha fatto emergere quelle che sono le disparitร di genere, sociali e lavorative, invece la Presidente Agnello oltre a ribadire ciรฒ che รจ stato detto da Platania, ha aggiunto che purtroppo queste disuguaglianze non sono iniziate con la pandemia ma si sono solo inasprite. Essendo anche componente della Commissione ANMIL per le Pari Opportunitร lo scorso 3 marzo ha partecipato al Convegno nazionale che si รจ tenuto a Roma presso il Senato dove erano presenti autoritร istituzionali. Lโevento รจ riuscito e si spera che lโattenzione nei confronti della categoria possa crescere sempre di piรน e soprattutto ci si augura che le promesse fatte vengano mantenute.
