Roma, 22 dicembre 2021 – Un albero per la sicurezza sul lavoro – l’iniziativa che la Fondazione ANMIL “Sosteniamoli subito” sta portando avanti in tutta Italia grazie alla donazione dell’idea progettuale dell’artista Francesco Sbolzani – è stato inaugurato oggi a Cosenza, presso l’isola pedonale della città, alla presenza del Sindaco Francesco Alessandro Caruso, dell’Assessore ai Traporti di Palazzo dei Bruzi Damiano Covelli, del Presidente ANMIL territoriale Antonio Domma e del Presidente del Caf ANMIL Vito Antonio Lorusso.
L’albero di Natale è realizzato con i caschi colorati degli operari che intendono richiamare l’attenzione pubblica sulla gravità degli incidenti che avvengono quotidianamente sul lavoro. Un gesto simbolico che ha già riscontrato apprezzamento di passanti e associati. “L’iniziativa sta riscontrando consensi importanti, è vero, ma eviterei di parlare di successi – dice Domma -. Noi di questi successi non ne vogliamo, perché mettono in risalto, nel 2022, morti sul lavoro come se fossimo nell’800. È inconcepibile che ancora oggi siano temi d’attualità”. In merito a quanto accaduto a Torino, il Presidente ANMIL ha aggiunto “è inaccettabile. Il nostro auspicio è che ci sia una svolta radicale, specialmente nei cantieri e nelle campagne dove lo sfruttamento è all’ordine del giorno. Masnadieri senza scrupoli sfruttano la fame e l’assenza di diritti fondamentali per arricchirsi sul sudore e sulle spalle della povera gente”.
L’Assessore Covelli sui social si è così espresso sull’iniziativa: “È certamente l’albero di Natale più significativo quello dell’Anmil formato da tanti caschi antinfortunistici. L’iniziativa dell’Associazione nazionale fra lavoratori mutilati e invalidi del lavoro ha trovato immediato accoglimento dall’amministrazione comunale. Un albero particolare, che mi auguro possa sensibilizzare sul tema della sicurezza sul lavoro”.
