20 marzo 2020 – Francesco Foltrani, medico di base di 67 anni, lascia moglie e figli a seguito dell’infezione contratta da covid-19. Il medico era stato a contatto con alcuni ricoverati nella casa di riposo di Cingoli, ove è esploso il focolaio.
Il Presidente dell’Ordine dei Medici di Macerata, Romano Mari, afferma “Francesco ha speso tutto se stesso fino alla fine, è un martire della professione e non possiamo permetterci di perdere medici perché mancano le protezioni […] insisto affinché tutto il personale sanitario sia protetto”.
