Biasi, docente di diritto del lavoro presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano, attualmente a Stanford, che ha scritto sul tema dei danni punitivi approfondendo uno studio comparato tra l’ordinamento italiano e quelli di Common law.
A patrocinare l’evento, insieme al COA Taranto, alla Fondazione scuola Forense, Camera penale e Camera Giuslavoristi, ci sarà anche l’ANMIL che, nel costituirsi parte civile nei vari processi penali, si sta battendo da anni nelle aule dei Tribunali per far passare un principio innovativo, che è quello appunto del diritto al risarcimento del danno punitivo, un istituto giuridico che consentirebbe alle vittime di infortuni sul lavoro o malattie professionali di ottenere risarcimenti ulteriori rispetto a quelli semplicemente necessari a compensare il danno subito e a sanzionare il comportamento di coloro che, in violazione della normativa in materia di salute e sicurezza dei lavoratori, abbiano posto in essere una condotta particolarmente grave.
