Roma, 5 febbraio 2021 – È precipitato da un’altezza di quasi cinque metri mentre stava caricando un’autocisterna con i sacchi di semola ed è morto sul colpo. Antonio Carafa, 52 anni, residente in contrada Villa San Vincenzo di Guardiagrele (Chieti). L’incidente mortale è avvenuto presso l’azienda Maiella Market, che si trova nell’area dell’ex Molino Alimonti. Un altro incidente sul lavoro è accaduto ieri nel tardo pomeriggio. A perdere la vita Francesco Strangis, 48 anni, della frazione San Mazzeo di Conflenti, in provincia di Catanzaro.
L’uomo, secondo quanto si è appreso, lavorava in un’azienda agricola di Lamezia Terme e sarebbe deceduto dopo aver sbattuto violentemente la testa cadendo da un muletto mentre era intento con il mezzo a spostare una grossa balla di fieno.
Un altro incidente mortale a Tovo San Giacomo, in provincia di Savona, dove un sessantacinquenne, impresario edile proprietario della ditta che si occupava della ristrutturazione di un complesso, è stato travolto dal crollo di una parte di parete.
Sempre ieri a Mattarello, Trento, un operaio di 22 anni, residente nel bresciano e dipendente presso una ditta lombarda, ha rischiato la vita a causa della caduta di una sonda termica.
L’attrezzo si sarebbe sganciato da un macchinario ed è caduto al suolo da un’altezza di dieci metri.
Fortunatamente l’operaio è stato colpito solo di striscio. L’uomo è stato trasportato d’urgenza all’ospedale Santa Chiara e le sue condizioni sono serie ma non in pericolo di vita. Mercoledì scorso era avvenuto un altro incidente sul lavoro: a Spini di Gardolo, sempre nella stessa provincia, un uomo era rimasto incastrato con la gamba fra il muletto e il pallets.
L’incidente più grave è avvenuto ad Ala la scorsa settimana: un giovane di 22 anni ha perso il braccio dopo essere rimasto bloccato nell’ingranaggio di una macchina per la lavorazione della pasta.
A Livorno, ieri, si è verificato un incidente nel cantiere nautico Azimut Benetti. Un operaio di 55 anni di una ditta esterna, per cause ancora in fase di accertamento, mentre stava lavorando ad uno yacht si è visto cadere dall’alto un pezzo di metallo che lo ha colpito sul volto procurandogli un trauma facciale. Infine, a Taranto un lavoratore dell’ufficio tecnico dell’area ghisa dello stabilimento ArcelorMittal, durante attività di controllo nella zona dell’Afo2, in seguito al cedimento di una lamiera è caduto in una botola da un’altezza di circa due metri vicino la vasca dove viene scaricata la loppa. Il lavoratore ha riportato contusioni ed escoriazioni e non si è resa necessaria l’ospedalizzazione. L’Afo2, ripartito tre giorni fa, era stato oggetto di una fermata nel marzo dello scorso anno per consentire le attività di adeguamento alle prescrizioni richieste dal Tribunale di Taranto nell’ambito dell’inchiesta sull’incidente sul lavoro costato la vita nel giugno 2015 all’operaio Alessandro Morricella.
