17 ottobre 2019 – Inutili i soccorsi giunti questa mattina a Florinas (Sassari) per soccorrere un uomo di 84 anni, Giuseppino Piana, rimasto vittima di un infortunio sul lavoro. L’anziano lavoratore stava facendo legna nei campi con una motosega, quando è stato colpito da un tronco.
La notizia della morte ha sconvolto la comunità di Florinas, dove l’84enne era molto conosciuto e stimato. “Un grande lutto per il nostro paese. Tagliare alberi era la passione di Giuseppino, che faceva anche parte dell’associazione combattenti e reduci. Ci mancherà molto”, il commento di cordoglio del sindaco di Florinas, Enrico Lobino, giunto sul posto assieme ai soccorritori.
