È a Napoli che Giuseppe, lavorando tra miscele di verniciatura e materiale navale, affronta la vita di tutti i giorni con un suo sorriso trascinante, circondato da un fratello sgangherato e nullafacente, una vicina di casa invadente e pettegola ed una moglie intrappolata nella routine quotidiana. Ognuno ha le proprie abitudini e i propri gesti che si intrecciano generando una serie di trovate comiche e umoristiche.
