Roma, 31 dicembre 2020 – La dottoressa Silvia Camilli, originaria di Roma, aveva appena terminato il turno di notte al pronto soccorso dell’ospedale Santa Maria degli Angeli di Putignano e stava facendo ritorno a casa a Gioia del Colle, quando è finita fuori strada perdendo tragicamente la vita.
Lo schianto mortale è accaduto la mattina del 30 dicembre intorno alle 8.45 sulla provinciale che da Putignano conduce a Gioia del Colle, quando la dottoressa Camilli, 32 anni dopo un turno estenuante di lavoro al pronto soccorso di Putignano, peraltro ora Covid-Hospital, alla guida della sua Toyota Aygo, stava finalmente facendo ritorno a casa.
L’auto è finita fuori strada travolgendo un muretto in pietra, l’impatto violentissimo non ha lasciato scampo alla donna, rimasta intrappolata tra le lamiere contorte dell’auto.
Sul posto sono intervenuti i sanitari del 118 di Putignano che dopo aver tentato ogni tipo di manovra per salvare la collega, alla fine, non hanno potuto far altro che constatarne il decesso.
Ad eseguire i rilievi del sinistro la polizia municipale di Putignano guidata dal Commissario Capo Vito De Nicolò, e una volante della Polizia di Stato del Commissariato di Putignano.
