Roma, 6 maggio – Sull’onda emozionale degli incidenti mortali sul lavoro di questi giorni, e in particolare quello accaduto a Prato, nelle aule parlamentari oggi è riecheggiata l’idea di dare finalmente attuazione al percorso della Commissione parlamentare d’Inchiesta sulle condizioni della sicurezza sul lavoro. Intanto, proprio le commissioni Lavoro e Affari costituzionali del Senato hanno chiesto ai presidenti delle due Commissioni, Susy Matrisciano e Dario Parrini di farsi portavoce presso la Presidente Casellati affinché non si rimandi oltre la partenza dei lavori della monocamerale d’inchiesta. A ricordare che dall’inizio della legislatura il Senato non ha mai costituito la commissione di inchiesta sugli infortuni sul lavoro sono stati i senatori del Pd Simona Malpezzi e Andrea Marcucci. I due parlamentari sottolineano addirittura che in data 7 ottobre 2020, ne è stata chiesta formalmente la convocazione, segnalando anche i suoi componenti. “Bene ha fatto la senatrice Fedeli a ribadirlo con forza in Aula – si legge in una nota firmata da Malpezzi e Marcucci -. Di fronte alla continua emergenza, e all’ultimo drammatico incidente avvenuto a Prato, chiediamo che la Presidente Casellati proceda immediatamente alla costituzione della commissione”.
Anche il senatore di Italia Viva Vincenzo Carbone, vicepresidente della commissione Lavoro del Senato e primo firmatario di una delle proposte di istituzione di una Commissione d’inchiesta presentate a palazzo Madama, chiede alla Presidente del Senato Casellati di accelerare l’insediamento della Commissione.
“Lo dobbiamo a tutti i lavoratori e, soprattutto a queste vittime e alle loro famiglie. Morire lavorando è inaccettabile”, afferma il capogruppo di Liberi e Uguali alla Camera Federico Fornaro che, dopo aver sottolineato la carenza nei controlli, chiede al governo Draghi di mettere tra le priorità per uscire dalla crisi un piano strategico di prevenzione degli infortuni sul lavoro e delle malattie professionali, assicurando livelli elevati di sicurezza e di tutela della salute”.
