23 novembre 2020 – Anche quest’anno il Ministero dell’Istruzione celebra la Giornata nazionale per la sicurezza nelle scuole con l’intento di promuovere e valorizzare le attività e le iniziative realizzate sui temi della sicurezza e della prevenzione dei rischi. La Giornata è fissata il 22 novembre, ma gli eventi in programma si svolgeranno lunedì 23 novembre, per poter dare alle scuole modo di partecipare, seppur a distanza. La Giornata per la sicurezza nelle scuole è “una ricorrenza che ci richiama alle nostre responsabilità, ricordandoci – afferma la ministra Lucia Azzolina – la necessità di garantire il benessere delle nostre studentesse e dei nostri studenti in ambito scolastico e di garantire la loro sicurezza che deve essere una priorità assoluta, sempre. Lo è certamente per questo Governo. Da inizio 2020 – ricorda ancora la ministra – sono stati assegnati quasi 2 miliardi agli Enti locali per 2.057 interventi di edilizia scolastica e 5.560 indagini diagnostiche sui solai. A queste risorse vanno aggiunti gli oltre 400 milioni previsti per l’edilizia leggera in fase di emergenza. Nella Legge di bilancio abbiamo inserito oltre 1,5 miliardi per questo capitolo, che avrà un ruolo importante anche nel Recovery Fund”.
“Questa Giornata – spiega la viceministra Anna Ascani – è un momento di riflessione importante, che assume un valore particolare in questo periodo in cui tutti abbiamo dovuto modificare la nostra quotidianità per contenere il virus e salvaguardare la salute collettiva. Inoltre, dà l’opportunità a questo Ministero di riconfermare l’impegno costante per l’edilizia scolastica. Avremo a disposizione nuove risorse, quelle del Next Generation EU, un’occasione preziosa per un investimento più corposo per la sicurezza e la strutturazione di tutto il patrimonio edilizio scolastico. Una formazione di qualità passa anche da questo”.
Tutte le iniziative di oggi si svolgeranno online. Un programma comunque ricco. Si parte con un laboratorio didattico basato su una metodologia innovativa a tema, al quale partecipano 80 studentesse e studenti da tutta Italia che hanno lavorato da venerdì scorso per presentare le loro idee e proposte in materia di sicurezza a scuola. Sempre oggi, dalle 10.30 alle 12.30, in diretta streaming sul sito dedicato alla Giornata, si parlerà delle esperienze delle scuole e saranno presentati anche i video con i dati sugli investimenti di quest’anno in edilizia scolastica e il nuovo logo della Giornata, “Sicura solo se si ha cura”, ideato da un gruppo di studenti. Ci sarà, poi, un collegamento con la Fondazione Scafidi, sarà proiettato un video di un progetto realizzato dalle scuole e ci sarà la premiazione del concorso fotografico “La sicurezza a scuola”, lanciato in occasione della Giornata della sicurezza del 2019. Interverranno anche la Ministra dell’Istruzione, Lucia Azzolina, e la Viceministra, Anna Ascani, che ha la delega in materia di edilizia scolastica.
