23 novembre 2021 – In apertura della riunione dell’Osservatorio nazionale per l’edilizia scolastica, riunitosi ieri presso il Ministero dell’Istruzione in occasione della Giornata nazionale per la sicurezza nelle scuole, il Ministro dell’Istruzione Patrizio Bianchi ha dichiarato: “Quest’anno abbiamo autorizzato 3 miliardi e 120 milioni per la messa in sicurezza e la riqualificazione delle scuole e per interventi a garanzia della didattica in presenza. Il Ministero ha avviato analisi specifiche e finanziato interventi su solai e controsoffitti. Abbiamo utilizzato tutti i fondi europei che avevamo a disposizione e stiamo predisponendo i bandi per le risorse del Pnrr: le scuole sono il centro del Paese”. Il Ministro ha continuato sottolineando come “Sviluppare una cultura della sicurezza e della prevenzione dei rischi è fondamentale. La sicurezza a scuola deve essere declinata in tutte le sue dimensioni: significa vigilare sugli edifici esistenti, riqualificarli e progettare un’edilizia innovativa e sostenibile, ma anche creare le condizioni ambientali e pedagogiche per una scuola di qualità per tutte e per tutti in ogni parte del Paese. Una scuola sicura – ha continuato – è una scuola che accompagna le nostre studentesse e i nostri studenti nel loro percorso di vita”.
La riunione dell’Osservatorio è stata teatro della firma, apposta dal Ministro Bianchi e dal Commissario straordinario per la ricostruzione Giovanni Legnini del Protocollo per la programmazione degli interventi di riparazione, ripristino e ricostruzione degli edifici scolastici nei territori delle regioni Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche e Umbria colpiti dagli eventi sismici a partire dall’agosto 2016. Presentate anche le linee di finanziamento per l’edilizia scolastica e gli investimenti in materia di infrastrutture previsti nel Pnrr.
Nei giorni scorsi è stato siglato anche il rinnovo del Protocollo di collaborazione con la Protezione civile per diffondere, sin dai banchi di scuola, la cultura della prevenzione.
Con l’hashtag #scuolasicura è stato inoltre lanciato il contest ‘Sicura solo se si ha cura’, una campagna per sensibilizzare studentesse, studenti e personale scolastico sul tema della cultura della sicurezza negli istituti, della prevenzione dei rischi e della cura per gli spazi che si vivono.
