Roma, 3 novembre 2020 – Con l’aumentare dei contagi in alcune regioni le scuole hanno dovuto di nuovo chiudere per arginare la diffusione del COVID-19, che, dopo la calma dei mesi estivi, è esplosa con l’approcciarsi dei primi freddi. La DDI, didattica digitale integrata, è già una realtà per 2 milioni di studenti. In alcune regioni italiane, le più colpite dalla pandemia, viene già eseguita per il 75% dell’orario, ma per 300.000 di loro il passaggio dalla lezione classica, in presenza, alle nuove tecnologie sembra essere piuttosto difficile. Gli 85 milioni di euro stanziati dal Decreto Ristori per l’acquisto dei dispositivi informatici rischiano di non essere sufficienti e la diffusione della banda ultralarga, a casa e a scuola, presenta ancora numerose mancanze. Il prossimo DPCM presentato alla Camera dal Presidente Conte non prevede un lock-down generalizzato, ma interventi mirati su ogni singolo territorio in base alla gravità della situazione. Per quel che riguarda la scuola c’è la possibilità del ritorno alla didattica a distanza alle superiori. Se da un lato la Ministra dell’Istruzione Lucia Azzolina continua a dirsi contraria alla chiusura delle scuole, dall’altra va considerato il rischio di contagio. “Chiudere le scuole – dichiara la Ministra –rende il Paese più debole, aumenta le diseguaglianze ed è sinonimo di abbandono scolastico”; Le scuole in sé non sembrano essere ad alto rischio di contagio, date le numerose misure di sicurezza come gli ingressi scaglionati e l’utilizzo di mascherine e gel disinfettanti, ma vanno considerati altri aspetti come il trasporto pubblico. Con il nuovo DPCM in arrivo si dovrebbero chiudere le scuole superiori in tutta Italia, per le altre si deciderà in base alla gravità della situazione del territorio.
