Immediatamente sul posto sono arrivate un’automedica e un’ambulanza della Pubblica assistenza di Avenza ma le difficoltose operazioni per trarre in salvo il manovale hanno reso necessario l’intervento dei vigili del fuoco.
I vigili del fuoco sono arrivati dalla caserma di via Campo d’Appio e hanno recuperato il ferito, dagli spazi angusti e ripidi dove era scivolato, imbragandolo con un toboga, una speciale barella utilizzata anche per i soccorsi in montagna. Dopo i primi soccorsi, l’uomo è stato accompagnato al NOA per fratture e trauma cranico.
