Amazon, denunciano i sindacati, aveva prima dato avvio e poi repentinamente bloccato il tavolo della trattativa. “I motivi sono diversi ma sono tutti riconducibili alle insostenibili condizioni di lavoro in cui operano questi dipendenti che per miseri stipendi sono sottoposti a ritmi di lavoro intollerabili e sono costretti a rispettare tabelle di marcia che mettono costantemente a rischio la loro, e altrui, incolumità”, spiegano in un comunicato Massimo Cognolatto e Romeo Barutta della Filt Cgil regionale e le Rsu.
La risposta dell’azienda: “I fornitori di servizi di consegna sono innanzitutto nostri partner, e noi lavoriamo insieme a loro per definire degli obiettivi realistici che non mettano sotto pressione loro e i loro dipendenti”.
“Utilizziamo una tecnologia – prosegue la società di e-commerce – che prende in considerazione molteplici aspetti per determinare la quantità di pacchi che un autista può consegnare in sicurezza durante il suo turno di lavoro. Gli autisti sono assunti dai fornitori di servizi di consegna tramite il Ccnl Trasporti e Logistica e percepiscono salari competitivi. Per il lavoro svolto in questo periodo di emergenza sanitaria, Amazon ha erogato ai fornitori dei servizi di consegna un importo vincolato a garantire a tutti gli autisti un riconoscimento economico una tantum, di 500 euro lordi durante il primo lockdown di marzo e aprile, e di 300 euro lordi nel mese di dicembre”.
Per quanto riguarda le misure di sicurezza legate al Covid, Amazon precisa di aver “lavorato sin dal primo momento a stretto contatto con le autorità locali per rispondere efficacemente alla situazione di emergenza, continuando a garantire il nostro servizio ai clienti e preservando allo stesso tempo la salute e la sicurezza di tutti i nostri dipendenti e ai dipendenti dei nostri fornitori di servizi di consegna.
