4 febbraio 2022 – Dalla presentazione dell’ultimo Rapporto Domina (Associazione Nazionale Famiglie Datori di Lavoro Domestico) emerge un dato preoccupante: nel 2040 sarà più probabile vivere da soli che in una famiglia con figli.
Un lungo “inverno demografico” per gli italiani, tenendo conto delle previsioni Istat che spiegano come, tra 20 anni, le famiglie monocomponenti saranno di gran lunga aumentate a discapito di quelle con almeno un figlio.
Nell’ottica di garantire lo stesso livello di assistenza e cura dei non autosufficienti (in media 12 assistenti ogni 100 famiglie monocomponenti over70) gli italiani avranno bisogna di altri 200 mila assistenti familiari.
Un abbassamento decisivo dunque delle reti di sostegno, per la quale l’Associazione stima che “l’aumento del personale domestico legato all’assistenza porterà le famiglie a spendere oltre 5,5 miliardi tra retribuzione, contributi e Tfr (+42%)”.
“L’allungamento della vita e la maggiore frammentazione familiare, – commenta il Segretario generale Lorenzo Gasparrini – rende la gestione delle persone anziane più incerta e difficile. Le famiglie saranno sempre più costrette ad assumere personale legato all’assistenza, per questo hanno bisogno oltre che di personale adeguato e preparato, anche di essere supportate sulla gestione e sui costi di questa assistenza. Concedere maggiori sgravi a queste famiglie è fondamentale per rendere l’assistenza più sicura”.
