17 settembre 2021 – E’ di pochi minuti fa la notizia che ANMIL è stata ammessa come parte civile nel corso dell’udienza preliminare odierna, in corso di svolgimento presso il tribunale penale di Pescara, a seguito della scelta della maggior parte degli indagati di essere giudicati nella forma del giudizio abbreviato.
La partecipazione dell’Associazione al processo che riguarda la morte di 11 lavoratori e 18 ospiti dell’hotel, travolto dalla valanga il 18.01.2017, è particolarmente significativa perché tra i molti reati contestati dalla Procura ci sono le violazioni al testo unico sulla sicurezza in ambiente di lavoro del D.lgs. 81/2008.
L’obiettivo di ANMIL nella partecipazione ai processi penali sulle cosiddette “morti bianche” a livello nazionale è di creare un filo di continuità e collegamento tra i vari disastri e incidenti mortali, e far sì che il patrimonio dei risultati e delle strategie maturate in un caso processuale, importante come questo, possa servire da esperienza e monito in altri processi.
ANMIL intende essere una parte attiva al fianco delle famiglie, per far sì che tragedie come queste non si ripetano mai più.
