Roma, 5 aprile 2022 – È attesa per domani, mercoledì 6 aprile, la pronuncia della sentenza relativa al processo Eternit bis sulle morti da amianto, dinanzi alla Corte d’assise di Napoli, in cui l’ANMIL è costituita parte civile, assistita dall’Avv. Massimiliano Gabrielli.
Ricordiamo che questo è uno dei diversi processi contro dell’imprenditore svizzero Stephan Schmidheiny, patron della fabbrica Eternit, pendenti nei Tribunali di competenza per le varie sedi territoriali degli stabilimenti di produzione del materiale killer che ha provocato non solo la morte di centinaia di lavoratori per mesotelioma pleurico provocato dall’inalazione di amianto nelle fabbriche Eternit ma altresì dei loro familiari per le patologie correlate all’asbesto.
Un primo fondamentale ed importantissimo risultato, si è già avuto a Torino con un sentenza di condanna a quattro anni di carcere per omicidio colposo a carico del magnate svizzero con l’aggiunta dell’interdizione dai pubblici uffici per 5 anni e la liquidazione di una provvisionale risarcitoria alle vittime, agli enti ed associazioni costituite nel giudizio.
Attendiamo ora, fiduciosi, la decisione della Corte nel filone napoletano auspicando che, anche in questa sede, venga fatta giustizia al fine di tutelare gli interessi diffusi dei lavoratori alla salvaguardia dell’ambiente di lavoro contro i rischi professionali.
