Roma, 2 dicembre 2021 – Il Ministro per la Disabilità Erika Stefani e il Presidente dell’INPS Pasquale Tridico hanno presentato ieri, presso la Sala Polifunzionale della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, la nuova Disability Card.
Le prime carte, stampate dall’Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, saranno pronte secondo le stime dell’Inps, ad aprile. La nuova tesserina con foto e QR Code contenente tutti i dati della persona disabile, nel rispetto della privacy e della riservatezza, permetterà di dimostrare la propria condizione di disabilità ed accedere a tutti i servizi che nel tempo, attraverso protocolli di intesa ed accordi, verranno messi a disposizione. La Disability Card è destinata a 4 milioni di persone che hanno tra il 67% e il 100% di invalidità. I potenziali beneficiari potranno da febbraio 2022 fare domanda direttamente sul sito dell’Inps “con una procedura super semplificata” e dopo due mesi ottenerla. La nuova ‘carta d’identità’ dei disabili avrà una durata di dieci anni e dovrà poi essere rinnovata.
Con questo progetto “andiamo verso il futuro rivolto alla semplificazione, alla sburocratizzazione e all’inclusione” ha detto Erika Stefani, definendo la Disability Card anche “un progetto aperto” poiché consentirà alle persone con disabilità di poter usufruire di sconti, convenzioni e tariffe agevolate grazie a convenzioni con enti pubblici e privati. È già stata attivata una convenzione con il Ministero della Cultura per consentire alle persone con disabilità di accedere gratuitamente ai musei pubblici. Il presidente dell’Inps Pasquale Tridico ha definito la nuova tessera “un oggetto vivo, uno strumento in continua evoluzione destinato ad una platea importante, che soprattutto dopo il Covid, è arrivata a 4 milioni di persone” e che “semplifica la vita dei nostri utenti più fragili”.
Buone notizie per le persone con disabilità anche dal Decreto Fiscale, nel quale è stata ripristinata la possibilità di cumulo tra assegno di invalidità e reddito da lavoro. “Abbiamo messo fine ad una ingiustizia – ha commentato Stefani – una persona con disabilità ha diritto di lavorare”. In Commissione Finanze del Senato c’è stato il voto favorevole all’emendamento correttivo che consente il cumulo dell’assegno di invalidità (287 euro mensile) che spetta agli invalidi civili parziali sommato al reddito di lavoro fino a 4.931 euro lordi annui.
