Roma, 22 aprile 2020 – Sono 2 i dirigenti medici, 9 gli infermieri professionali e 3 gli operatori sanitari del reparto Medicina interna universitaria del Policlinico Riuniti di Foggia risultati positivi al #Covid-19. Lo comunica in una nota lo stesso ospedale. I 14 dipendenti contagiati si aggiungono ai 6 pazienti già risultati positivi nei giorni scorsi e ricoverati nell’unità operativa di Malattie Infettive, mentre tutti i dipendenti risultano, al momento, asintomatici e stanno trascorrendo l’isolamento a casa. La direzione generale del Policlinico ha ricostruito la catena dei contagi, avvenuta tramite un paziente, risultato negativo a due tamponi e passato prima al pronto soccorso e poi nella cosidetta ‘zona grigia’. Si tratta di un degente over 80 che sulle prime era stato trasferito nel reparto di medicina interna per la stabilizzazione del suo quadro clinico. Qualche giorno più tardi è stato dimesso, ma dopo meno di una settimana si è ripresentato in ospedale con sintomatologia tipica da #Coronavirus. A quel punto, sottoposto a un terzo tampone, è risultato positivo.
