È questa la dichiarazione di Marco Bucci, 33enne di Ivrea (Torino) che 3 anni fa ha perso la mano destra in un incidente di lavoro ma ora, grazie a una protesi di ultima generazione, con 12 movimenti diversi, può tornare a stringere gli oggetti e persino a guidare la moto, la sua grande passione. Marco, a cui pochi giorni fa Officina Ortopedica Maria Adelaide di Torino gli ha applicato una protesi I-Digits, in fibre di carbonio e a controllo mio-elettrico, era un macellaio. Racconta: “Stavo tritando la carne e all’improvviso anche la mia mano è finita tra le lame. Ho avuto la tempestività di spegnere la macchina, ma il danno era stato fatto”. “È stato un periodo durissimo, ma non sono uno che si abbatte”. Per utilizzare la nuova protesi “Devo fare molta pratica – conclude – ma non c’è addestramento più soddisfacente di questo”.
