14 gennaio 2020 – Nel tardo pomeriggio di ieri un tragico incidente sul lavoro ha coinvolto un operaio di 42 anni, Raffaele Ielpo, uccidendolo.
Ielpo si trovava a 18 metri di profondità, insieme ai suoi colleghi, in un cantiere della Metro 4 di Milano, intento a prendere le misure di un cunicolo di collegamento del pozzo di aerazione necessario per i lavori, quando un grosso masso l’ha travolto.
L’operaio è immediatamente andato in arresto cardiocircolatorio e i soccorsi giunti sul posto, dopo le manovre di rianimazione previste in questi casi, l’hanno trasportato in condizioni disperate al San Carlo di Milano. Purtroppo Ielpo è deceduto immediatamente dopo il ricovero.
“Siamo affranti per quanto successo ed esprimiamo le più sentite condoglianze alla famiglia. La società concessionaria è a disposizione delle autorità affinché possa essere chiarita con il massimo rigore la dinamica dell’incidente”. È quanto ha affermato in una nota Fabio Terragni, il Presidente di M4 spa dopo la morte dell’operaio.
Sulla vicenda è inetrvenuto anche il Sindaco di Milano, Giuseppe Sala: “Ho appreso poco fa della tragica morte del caposquadra che stava lavorando nel cantiere della M4 al manufatto Tirana. Voglio esprimere il cordoglio alla sua famiglia e la vicinanza ai suoi colleghi, sono profondamente costernato per quanto accaduto. Come sindaco e a nome di tutta l’Amministrazione comunale siamo a disposizione della famiglia per tutto quanto necessario in questo difficile e tragico momento”.
“Domani fermiamo i lavori della nuova linea della metropolitana in segno di lutto e parteciperò a una cerimonia religiosa che si terrà al campo base di Buccinasco”. Lo ha dichiarato ieri l’assessore alla Mobilità del Comune di Milano, Marco Granelli.
La Procura di Milano ha aperto un’inchiesta per omicidio colposo sulla morte dell’operaio. L’area è stata sequestrata e il procuratore aggiunto Tiziana Siciliano, del dipartimento ‘salute, sicurezza, lavoro e ambiente’, sta andando in zona per un sopralluogo nel cantiere. L’indagine dovrà accertare eventuali violazioni delle norme antinfortunistiche.
