Roma, 28 ottobre 2021 – È morto ieri sera in ospedale, a causa delle ferite riportate, Mario Papa, operaio di 23 anni precipitato da un’impalcatura sempre ieri nel pomeriggio a Torre Annunziata, in provincia di Napoli. Il giovane, stando a una prima ricostruzione effettuata dagli agenti di polizia municipale chiamati a effettuare i sopralluoghi dopo l’incidente nel capannone di via Sant’Alfonso dei Liguori, sarebbe precipitato da un’altezza di circa 4 metri mentre era impegnato in attività legate alle proprie mansioni.
A commentare l’accaduto il sindaco di Torre Annunziata, Vincenzo Ascione, che ha annunciato come nel giorno dei funerali sarà proclamato il lutto cittadino: ”È una tragedia immane – afferma il primo cittadino – la notizia della sua morte ci ha sconvolti e lasciati sgomenti. Il primo pensiero è rivolto ai familiari, ai quali esprimiamo il nostro cordoglio, abbracciandoli idealmente in questi momenti tanto drammatici quanto dolorosi, consapevoli del fatto che nessun gesto o parola potrà in alcun modo lenire la loro sofferenza”.
