Roma, 22 dicembre 2021 – Sugli incidenti sul lavoro il Governo mostra la volontà di andare avanti nel tentativo di arginare il fenomeno. Il messaggio, nemmeno tanto nascosto, arriva direttamente dalla bocca del premier Draghi che nel corso della conferenza stampa di fine anno è tornato sull’argomento sottolineandone l’urgenza. Intanto, è proprio il Ministro del Lavoro Andrea Orlando a dare i numeri sull’entità del fenomeno. “Al netto degli infortuni da contagio Covid, sembrerebbe presentarsi nei primi dieci mesi del 2021, rispetto all’analogo periodo 2020, un aumento complessivo del 20,6%, da monitorare comunque nelle future rilevazioni”, ha dichiarato Orlando nell’informativa alla Camera sulla sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro.
“L’intervento normativo” nella lotta agli incidenti sul lavoro, ha commentato Draghi, “è stato giudicato efficace e abbastanza completo dai sindacati con cui è stato elaborato lo schema che ha poi portato alla normativa. La situazione è in parte legata al boom dell’edilizia ma è inaccettabile”.
“Continueremo a lavorare su questo fronte”, ha aggiunto. “Il governo non considera la sua azione terminata con quel decreto – ha concluso -. Se la situazione persiste bisogna trovare altri sistemi”.
