18 dicembre 2019 – Roberto Penzone, operaio di 54 anni, è morto nella tarda mattinata di ieri dopo essere precipitato da un’altezza di circa 10 mt mentre stava lavorando alla messa in sicurezza di un muro di contenimento a Monte Sant’Angelo (Foggia). Dopo la caduta l’uomo è stato trasferito immediatamente all’ospedale Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza a San Giovanni Rotondo dove è morto a seguito dei numerosi traumi riportati.
“Ancora morti sul lavoro oggi a Varese e Foggia. È una strage continua ed inaccettabile in un Paese civile. Non è mai una fatalità morire sul lavoro. È perché mancano i controlli, non si fa prevenzione, non si fa la necessaria formazione”. Lo scrive su twitter la segretaria generale della Cisl, Annamaria Furlan.
