Roma, 24 maggio – Aprire subito un tavolo con il governo per affrontare tutti i nodi dell’informazione, mettere in cantiere le riforme necessarie, approvare le misure per i cronisti minacciati e contro le querele bavaglio, trovare una soluzione al problema del precariato.
Sono state queste le richieste sollevate il 20 maggio nel corso della manifestazione organizzata dalla Fnsi in piazza Montecitorio, alla quale hanno partecipato rappresentanti di tutti gli organismi di categoria, associazioni, gruppi di precari e esodati.
Sono intervenuti il presidente della Fnsi Giuseppe Giulietti, e il segretario Raffaele Lorusso. Accolti dal sottosegretario all’Editoria Giuseppe Moles, che è intervenuto a sorpresa alla manifestazione per testimoniare la propria vicinanza e il suo impegno, hanno chiesto con forza di non dimenticare le istanze dei giornalisti per la tutela della libertà di stampa e la dignità del lavoro, alla vigilia del percorso di investimenti delineato del Recovery, che – come denunciato dal sindacato – non dà il giusto peso a un settore messo a dura prova dalla crisi ormai decennale e che, nel corso della pandemia, ha dimostrato ancora una volta la sua centralità nel percorso democratico del Paese.
“Da quando sono arrivato al governo sto cercando di sostenere e garantire risorse per l’intera filiera. Posso già dire che una serie di misure, incentivi e sostegni, sono presenti nel decreto Sostegni bis”, ha detto il sottosegretario, auspicando ‘un rapido recepimento della direttiva sul copyright’ e sottolineando ‘la necessità di misure che garantiscano i livelli occupazionali che mettano fine al precariato’.
Tante le adesioni, da quelle dei Consigli dell’Ordine nazionale e regionali, dalle associazioni Art.21 e Giulia, ai cdr di varie testate. È intervenuta a portare il proprio sostegno il sottosegretario ai Rapporti con il Parlamento, Caterina Bini, oltre ai deputati del Pd Walter Verini e di Leu Stefano Fassina presenti in piazza insieme a altri parlamentari.
“Occorre votare l’equo compenso, tutelare i cronisti minacciati, riformare la Rai – ha detto Giulietti – Sono tutti provvedimenti a costo zero, fermi da 20 anni. Se l’unica misura all’orizzonte è il commissariamento dell’Inpgi non ci siamo, perché qui siamo di fronte a un commissariamento dell’art.21 della Costituzione”.
“Questa non è una manifestazione contro qualcuno – ha aggiunto Lorusso -, ma è per la tutela dell’articolo 21 della Costituzione, per i co.co.co., colleghi che fanno lo stesso lavoro delle redazioni ma che vengono pagati un decimo. Occorre cancellare il carcere, fermare le querele bavaglio. Alla vigilia del Pnrr è necessario affrontare il tema dell’informazione. Aprire un tavolo dedicato al tema del lavoro nel suo complesso”.
Il segretario Usigrai, Vittorio Di Trapani, ha voluto ricordare il ruolo del giornalista Rai Roberto Morrione, scomparso dieci anni fa, che “ha avuto il coraggio di andare in video contro la propria azienda per difendere i precari”.
Tra i temi caldi il futuro dell’Inpgi, con il rischio commissariamento all’orizzonte. “Noi giornalisti non siamo responsabili di questa crisi, siamo le vittime – ha detto il presidente Inpgi, Marina Macelloni -. Siamo pronti a fare sacrifici, ma devono essere sacrifici utili perché altrimenti serviranno solo ad avere il nostro scalpo. Serve un confronto ampio con il governo per affrontare la crisi nel suo insieme e parlare di crescita e investimenti”. “Sull’Inpgi non ho competenza e delega – ha sottolineato Moles nel suo intervento – ma stiamo dando il nostro contributo e mi auguro che con il ministro Orlando si possa raggiungere una soluzione positiva, perché è fondamentale che si tuteli l’istituto”.
Moles si è quindi rivolto ai giornalisti esodati presenti al presidio, sottolineando che è una problematica che conosce bene e che necessita di attenzione. Il Comitato dei giornalisti esodati ha raccolto i colleghi che sono usciti da aziende in crisi e si trovano in un vero e proprio limbo, senza pensione, cassa integrazione e alcun tipo di sostegno, mentre altri colleghi nella loro situazione sono stati prepensionati.
Moles ha anche annunciato che a breve verrà aperto il tavolo sull’equo compenso per i collaboratori e, prima di lasciare il presidio, si è intrattenuto brevemente con i rappresentanti del neonato Coordinamento collaboratori e precari dell’ANSA, che hanno fatto sentire la propria voce nel corso della manifestazione.
