Per aiutare i cittadini in difficoltà è stato attivato il 27 aprile ad opera del Ministero della Salute e della Protezione Civile il numero verde di sostegno psicologico 800133133 attivo tutti i giorni dalle ore 8.00 alle ore 24.00. In una settimana sono arrivate circa 30.000 chiamate provenienti da tutta Italia, più donne che uomini, molti anziani e pochissimi adolescenti. “Questi volumi sono alti”, spiga Maria Assunta Giannini, psicologa e psicoteraputa, dirigente del Ministero e responsabile tecnico-scientifica del progetto, e “mostrano che è stato intercettato un aumento importante del bisogno di sostegno, che va di pari passo a un aumento di ansia, paura e solitudine causati dall’emergenza #coronavirus e dal conseguente lockdown”.
