Roma, 10 novembre 2021 – Sessantamila firme per dire no agli stage gratuiti e senza tutele. E’ questa la più importante rivendicazione della campagna “Lo stage non è lavoro”, portata avanti da diverse associazioni giovanili sulla piattaforma Change.org. Una delegazione dell’associazione “Lo Stagista Frust(r)ato” e di giovani attivisti ha consegnato le firme al ministro per il Lavoro e le Politiche sociali, Andrea Orlando che, si legge in una nota, “ha confermato il suo impegno sulla riforma dell’ingresso nel mercato del lavoro e del lavoro giovanile”, spiegando che “la riforma di stage e apprendistato sarà trattata all’interno delle proposte avanzate nel gruppo di lavoro organizzato dal ministero”.
Le associazioni formulano anche la proposta di sostituire gli stage gratuiti con una sola tipologia di stage, che preveda un giusto rimborso spese obbligatorio e che non sia attivabile oltre sei mesi dal conseguimento del titolo di laurea/diploma. I promotori dell’iniziativa chiedono anche che si proceda a un rafforzamento dell’apprendistato “come vero strumento di entrata nel mondo del lavoro”, mediante “uno snellimento degli oneri burocratici, una migliore formazione anche tramite le università, l’impostazione di maggior flessibilità e nuovi incentivi crescenti per chi assume giovani lavoratori tramite questo contratto, che garantisce tutele, contributi e una retribuzione adeguata”.
