16 luglio 2019. Incidente mortale in itinere quello accaduto a una donna Barbara Fiore, giovane mamma che si stava recando al lavoro. È morta all’alba di questa mattina in un incidente stradale lungo la statale 101 nei pressi di Gallipoli (Lecce). Separata, madre di due bambini, era uscita molto presto per raggiungere il bar nel centro storico di Gallipoli dove lavorava. Poco prima delle 7, però, lo schianto mortale quasi all’altezza dello svincolo per Lido Conchiglie. Per cause ancora in via di accertamento, Barbara Fiore ha perso il controllo della sua Hunday ix35. L’auto ha sbandato sul manto viscido, mentre era in corso un temporale, e ha colpito il guard-rail con tale violenza da oltrepassarlo. La vettura si è ribaltata più volte nelle campagne, prima di fermarsi a circa 30 metri dalla statale.
Ieri, ma in Val di Non, c’è stato invece un altro incidente mortale. Un uomo è morto a Denno (Tn) in un meleto in seguito al ribaltamento di un carrello motorizzato a guida semi-automatica. Il mezzo è scivolato lungo il pendio ribaltandosi e lo ha tramortito. L’uomo è rimasto schiacciato mentre il collega sarebbe riuscito a salvarsi saltando all’ultimo momento.
