21 ottobre 2019 – Tribunale di Potenza. Mercoledì 16 ottobre ha preso il via l’udienza preliminare nei confronti di 4 persone accusate di omicidio colposo per la morte di Antonio Caggianese, morto sul lavoro a 27 anni all’Ageco di Tito Scalo nel febbraio del 2018.
Gli imputati sono l’amministratore dell’azienda, il direttore tecnico, il responsabile del sevizio prevenzione e protezione e il fornitore del macchinario nel quale Caggianese rimase incastrato perdendo la vita.
L’ANMIL ha chiesto di essere ammessa come parte civile al processo tramite il suo legale. Per la famiglia di Caggianese – difesa dagli avvocati Daniele De Angelis e Daniele Masiello – la prima notizia importante è la costituzione di parte civile ammessa dal giudice. “Bisogna accertare la verità, lo dobbiamo ad Antonio – ha dichiarato l’avv. De Angelis – e a tutte le vittime cadute sul lavoro. Ciò che è accaduto quel giorno non poteva e doveva verificarsi. Ci auguriamo che, una volta fatta chiarezza ed accertate le responsabilità, gli esiti possano aiutare a contribuire ad evitare avvenimenti simili“.
