5 luglio 2019 – Dopo la positiva esperienza dello scorso anno, sarà riaperto anche per questa stagione lo stabilimento balneare nato dal progetto “Tutti al mare, nessuno escluso” a Punta Marina Terme (RA) nel tratto di spiaggia libera tra Bagno Chicco Beach e Bagno Susanna. L’inaugurazione ufficiale è prevista per il 9 Luglio ma la spiaggia è aperta già dal 29 giugno scorso.
Il progetto dell’Associazione “Insieme a te” nasce a seguito di un viaggio in Puglia della Presidente Debora Donati insieme al marito Dario Alvisi malato di SLA. Dalla difficoltà di quell’esperienza, causata dalla totale assenza di strutture per l’accessibilità delle spiaggie alle persone con disabiità, la Presidente ha deciso di realizzare la prima spiaggia attrezzata in Emilia Romagna e la terza in Italia dopo quella di Sestri levante in Liguria e quella si Santa Foca in Puglia.
Lo stabilimento è dotato di un accesso balneare temporaneo e di attrezzature specifiche come gli attacchi elettrici per i respiratori e ausili per entrare in acqua, come sedie o lettini. Sono a disposizione degli ospiti quattro appartamenti in modo da riproporre le comodità che hanno nella loro casa. Persone che da anni non sono più andate in spiaggia o che addirittura non ci sono mai state possono finalmente prendere il sole o fare il bagno grazie anche al supporto di numerosi volontari che sono a loro disposizione anche durante i vari eventi organizzati.
