Roma, 11 novembre 2020 – “L’impegno dell’ANMIL per promuovere l’informazione sulle questioni legate all’amianto quali la tutela delle vittime, i risarcimenti, la ricerca e le cure, la bonifica e lo smaltimento, è al centro delle trasmissioni settimanali di Radio ANMIL Network, ogni giovedì nello spazio dalle ore 15.00 alle ore 16.00, che viene curato con il supporto di Giuseppe D’Ercole, Responsabile Amianto per l’Associazione Nuovi Lavori.
Domani, giovedì 12 novembre alle ore 15.00, per richiamare la necessità di confermare e rafforzare i provvedimenti da lui promossi con la legge sul Fondo per le Vittime dell’Amianto interverrà, tra gli altri, il Senatore Felice Casson determinato a rinnovare il suo impegno a difesa delle vittime dell’amianto.
“Resta la priorità della lotta al #Covid, ma l’amianto continua ad uccidere e ci sono gli strumenti per togliere definitamente la presenza dell’amianto dalle fabbriche e dalle abitazioni e tutelare, curare e portare conforto e sostegno alle vittime anche attraverso il Fondo che deve essere reso più consistente ed immediato nelle prestazioni – dichiara il Presidente dell’ANMIL Zoello Forni – e per questo, anche attraverso la nostra web radio porteremo avanti il confronto su questi temi”.
L’amianto continua inesorabilmente a mietere vittime; anche per il 2019 i dati Inail segnalano un aumento delle denunce di riconoscimento dei tumori professionali dovuti al mesotelioma mentre l’AIRTUM, l’Associazione Italiana di Ricerca sui Tumori, stima per il 2020 una crescita dei mesotelioma di un 11,11% rispetto alle stime del 2019.
La trasmissione di domani, che potrà essere seguita in diretta attraverso la pagina Facebook ANMIL Nazionale, dove è possibile interagire in diretta attraverso i commenti, e sul canale Youtube ANMIL Onlus, avrà come ospiti oltre al Senatore Felice Casson: Elio Munafò, Presidente del Comitato amministratore del Fondo Vittime Amianto (FVA) e Nicola Pondrano, primo Presidente del Comitato amministratore del FVA.
A fine dicembre 2020 scade il trattamento assistenziale a favore dei malati di mesotelioma per causa familiare e/o ambientale. Le risorse ci sono, tocca al Parlamento assicurarne la continuità ed aprire il dibattito per una Riforma del Fondo per le Vittime dell’Amianto a carattere universale ed egualitario.
Il Fondo per le Vittime dell’Amianto può fare giustizia delle tante complicazioni burocratiche e, a volte, anche dei mancati riconoscimenti o ritardi negli indennizzi da parte dell’Inail, dando immediato ristoro a tutti i malati a causa dell’amianto come recita il comma 241 dell’art.1 della legge 244/2007 sulla base della certificazione medica specialista consentendo ai pazienti ancora in vita di poter accedere subito alle migliori prestazioni sanitarie.
L’Inail continua a rimpinguare le casse del Ministero dell’Economia e a ridurre le prestazioni a favore dei lavoratori. I tumori professionali indennizzati sono solo il 6% dei casi annualmente statisticamente attesi. *
Efficienza energetica e sicurezza sismica meritano il forte sostegno del bonus al 110%, ma la bonifica dell’amianto, pericolo crescente per la salute pubblica per la vetustà avanzata delle coperture in cemento amianto ancora fortemente presenti nelle città e nelle campagne.
