Roma, 26 maggio 2020 – Da una lettura approfondita degli ultimi numeri relativi alle denunce di infortunio a seguito di #Covid-19 pubblicati dall’INAIL, emergono i seguenti punti salienti.
Per quanto concerne le denunce di infortunio, alla data del 15 maggio:
– 43.399 denunce di infortunio a seguito di #COVID-19 segnalate all’Inail (il 23% delle denunce di infortunio pervenute da inizio anno), concentrate soprattutto nel mese di marzo (54%) e di aprile (40%). I casi in più rispetto al monitoraggio effettuato alla data del 4 maggio sono 6.047;
– per il 71,7% i contagiati sono donne, il 28,3% uomini;
– l’età media è di 47 anni per entrambi i sessi;
– l’analisi territoriale evidenzia una distribuzione delle denunce del 55,2% nel Nord-Ovest (Lombardia 34,9%), del 24,7% nel Nord-Est (Emilia-Romagna 10,0%), del 12,0% al Centro (Toscana 5,7%), del 5,9% al Sud (Puglia 2,6%) e del 2,2% nelle Isole (Sicilia 1,2%);
– delle 43.399 denunce di infortunio da COVID-19, quasi tutte riguardano la gestione assicurativa dell’Industria e servizi (circa il 99%);
– rispetto alle attività produttive coinvolte dalla pandemia, il settore della sanità e assistenza sociale registra il 72,8% delle denunce;
– l’analisi per professione dell’infortunato evidenzia la categoria dei tecnici della salute come quella più coinvolta da contagi, con il 42,0% delle denunce (più di tre casi su quattro sono donne), oltre l’84% delle quali relative a infermieri.
Per quanto concerne invece le denunce di infortunio con esito mortale alla data del 15 maggio:
– 171 denunce di infortunio con esito mortale a seguito di COVID-19 pervenute all’Inail (circa quattro casi su dieci decessi denunciati), di questi il 40% deceduti a marzo e il 59% ad aprile;
– per l’82,5% i decessi hanno interessato gli uomini, il 17,5% sono donne (al contrario di quanto osservato sul complesso delle denunce); – l’età media dei deceduti è 59 anni (58 per le donne, 59 per gli uomini);
– l’analisi territoriale evidenzia una distribuzione dei decessi del 57,9% nel Nord-Ovest (Lombardia 43,9%), del 14,0% nel Nord-Est (Emilia Romagna 8,2%), dell’11,1% nel Centro (Marche 4,1%), del 15,2% al Sud (Campania 7,6%) e dell’1,8% nelle Isole (Sicilia 1,8%);
– il 91,8% dei decessi afferisce alla gestione assicurativa dell’Industria e servizi;
– rispetto alle attività produttive coinvolte dalla pandemia, il settore della sanità e assistenza sociale registra il 32,3% dei decessi;
– l’analisi per professione dell’infortunato evidenzia come circa la metà dei decessi riguardi personale sanitario e socio-assistenziale. Nel dettaglio, le categorie dei tecnici della salute (il 70% sono infermieri) e dei medici sono quelle più colpite dai decessi, con il 15,5% dei casi codificati per entrambe, seguite da quelle degli operatori socio-sanitari (10,7%), dagli impiegati amministrativi con l’8,3% e degli operatori socio-assistenziali (6,0%).
