6 agosto ’19. Due operai che lavoravano per conto di Autostrade sono morti, investiti da un Tir che ha invaso un cantiere allestito nel tratto bolognese della A14, a Borgo Panigale. L’incidente è avvenuto poco prima delle 23 di ieri al km 9, nei pressi dello svincolo per il raccordo interno. Gli operai stavano terminando l’allestimento del cantiere, necessario al rifacimento delle segnaletica orizzontale, e c’era un restringimento della carreggiata indicato con cartelli e segnali luminosi. L’autista del mezzo pesante, un 62enne albanese residente in Italia, è entrato nell’area del cantiere investendo i due e rischiando di travolgere un terzo addetto riuscito a spostarsi in tempo. Le vittime sono Antonio Pizzutelli, 38 anni, e Salvatore Vani, 46 anni, entrambi della provincia di Frosinone. Erano dipendenti di una ditta che lavora in appalto per Autostrade. Il camionista, indagato per omicidio colposo, è stato sottoposto ai test per verificare se fosse sotto effetto di alcol o droghe.
Sul fronte degli infortuni con feriti, c’è da registrare un grave fatto accaduto a sette lavoratori che si sono sentiti male questa mattina a causa delle esalazioni di monossido di carbonio. L’azienda è la Chimet di Arezzo. Gli operai si sono sentiti male mentre erano su una torre, ad un’altezza di circa 15 metri, per effettuare manutenzione ai filtri dei forni della lavorazione. I vigili del fuoco hanno raggiunto i quattro operai che si trovavano in prossimità del filtro. Uno di loro era in forte stato confusionale e si è reso necessario immobilizzarlo sulla spinale e poi è stato evacuato tramite un cestello da cantiere e affidato al personale medico del 118. Gli altri addetti, invece, sono scesi dalla torre in modo autonomo e sono stati presi in carico dal personale sanitario. Sul posto anche i carabinieri e personale del servizio di Prevenzione Igiene e sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro della Asl.
