In linea generale, si nota che nel quinquennio 2016-2020 il trend delle denunce di infortunio sul lavoro in Agricoltura è sempre stato decrescente, soprattutto grazie alla introduzione di tecnologie innovative nei processi di raccolta e lavorazione.
Più in particolare, è descritto come altalenante l’andamento dei casi mortali. La flessione degli infortuni sul lavoro lungo tutto il periodo è stata del 26,3% (da 36.199 casi nel 2016 a 26.696 nel 2020). Tuttavia, si rileva un aumento dei decessi in corrispondenza del 2017 (+9,4%) e del 2019 (+13,2%), mentre si è registrato un saldo negativo nel 2018 e nel 2020 (rispettivamente, -7,4% e -21,6%). Nel quinquennio, dunque, si registra un complessivo calo del 10,1%.
A livello territoriale, la maggior parte delle denunce pervengono dall’Emilia Romagna (12,8% degli incidenti denunciati), seguita da Veneto (8,7%), Lombardia (8,6%), Toscana (8,5%) e Puglia (7,9%).
A livello di genere, invece, ben l’80% degli infortuni si riferisce a lavoratori di sesso maschile.
