Roma, 8 maggio 2020 – Accordo Governo-Cei: “Via alle messe dal 18 maggio”. A Palazzo Chigi è stato firmato il protocollo per la ripresa delle celebrazioni dopo l’emergenza #Coronavirus. L’accordo è stato raggiunto dal presidente della Cei, il cardinale Gualtiero Bassetti, dal presidente del Consiglio, Giuseppe Conte, e dal ministro dell’Interno, Luciana Lamorgese. Nelle ultime settimane c’erano state tensioni dopo la protesta della Cei che aveva chiesto, senza successo, di ripartire con le messe aperto al pubblico dal 4 maggio. Al contrario dei funerali, a cui possono partecipare solo 15 persone, nell’accordo non si fa riferimento al numero massimo di fedeli che potranno accedere alla liturgia, ma sarà il parroco a individuare “la capienza massima dell’edificio” che possa garantire “il rispetto della normativa sul distanziamento delle persone”. La distanza tra i fedeli a messa dovrà essere di “almeno un metro laterale e frontale”. Ci saranno alcuni volontari, all’ingresso delle chiese, protetti da mascherine e guanti, a garantire che in chiesa possano entrare solo il numero di persone che garantiscono le distanze anticontagio, l’ingresso sarà consentito solo con le mascherine e senza sintomi influenzali, dovrà essere a disposizione gel igienizzante e si continuerà ad omettere il segno della pace, mentre per la Comunione è chiesto al sacerdote di igienizzarsi prima le mani e di indossare la mascherina. Le norme valgono per le messe in generale ma anche per funerali, matrimoni e battesimi.
