2 Dicembre 2020 – La fascia della popolazione che paga il prezzo più alto della crisi pandemica sul fronte del lavoro è quella dei giovani perché più spesso occupata con contratti precari Lo sottolinea la segretaria confederale della Uil Ivana Veronese commentando i dati dell’Istat di di oggi sull’occupazione a ottobre dai quali emerge che a fronte di 473.000 occupati in meno rispetto a ottobre 2019 ci sono 381.000 occupati a termine in meno mentre i dipendenti stabili sono aumentati di 61.000 unità.
“Nonostante la massiccia dose di misure emergenziali messe in atto in questi lunghi mesi, aggiunge, l’indicatore dell’occupazione segna, ad ottobre, una flessione tendenziale del 2%. Mancano all’appello quasi 500 mila occupati a cui si unisce una preoccupante crescita di disoccupati ed inattivi (300 mila unità)”.
A tamponare la situazione emergenziale, per ora – prosegue – ci sono gli strumenti di sostegno al reddito, il blocco dei licenziamenti e le indennità-Covid introdotte dalla decretazione d’urgenza e prorogate anche nel più recente Decreto Ristori Quater, ma quando le misure finiranno, il mondo del lavoro ne uscirà con le ossa rotte se non si programmano già da oggi, e celermente, le politiche da attuare per il domani.
Giovani e donne, soprattutto nel Mezzogiorno, sono coloro che attendono da più tempo risposte che tardano ad arrivare. È ora – conclude -di fare concretamente qualcosa per loro!.
