12 luglio 2019 – Un autotrasportatore di 53 anni, Mauro Pigazzini, ha perso la vita e un altro uomo è rimasto gravemente ferito in un incidente sul lavoro, avvenuto ieri causa di un’esplosione verificatasi mentre era in corso il trasferimento di gas Gpl in un serbatoio di una proprietà privata in una frazione di Gravedona e Uniti, in provincia di Como. Il corpo di Pigazzini è stato investito dagli effetti della deflagrazione e scagliato a decine di metri di distanza.
Il ferito è un uomo della zona di 66 anni trasferito d’urgenza all’ospedale e ricoverato in prognosi riservata. Sul luogo dell’incidente sono intervenute anche più squadre di pronto impiego dei Vigili del fuoco di Como, Menaggio e Dongo.
