Roma, 22 settembre 2021 – Sarà una notte interamente dedicata alla scienza e alla ricerca, quella del prossimo 24 settembre. Anche quest’anno il Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche ha risposto alla chiamata della Commissione Europea relativa alla Notte dei ricercatori: un momento di incontro tra ricercatori e cittadini, con lo scopo di diffondere la cultura scientifica e sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sull’importanza della ricerca e dell’innovazione per il progresso sociale ed economico del Paese.
“Il Cnr è lieto di essere anche quest’anno tra i protagonisti della Notte dei ricercatori, uno spazio ormai consolidato di divulgazione scientifica e di dialogo tra istituzioni di ricerca e società”, ha dichiarato la presidente Maria Chiara Carrozza. “Comunicare la scienza in modo corretto ed efficace per il nostro ente è fondamentale, al fine di far comprendere al grande pubblico il ruolo che la scienza riveste nel processo di avanzamento delle conoscenze, utili alla società e alle persone per affrontare le nuove sfide”.
I temi trattati dai ricercatori Cnr, sia in presenza sia da remoto, toccano le principali sfide della società contemporanea, dalla sostenibilità ambientale alla genetica, dalla fruizione virtuale dei beni culturali alle tecnologie che si basano su nanomateriali, fino alla economia circolare.
Il programma, che si estende anche a sabato 25 settembre, prevede esperimenti, mostre, visite guidate, talk show, spettacoli teatrali, concerti e laboratori per i più piccoli, organizzati a Trento, Torino, Trieste, Genova, La Spezia, Pavia, Vigevano (Pv), Padova, Bologna, Modena, Parma, Firenze, Sesto Fiorentino (Fi), Pisa, Livorno, Roma, Montelibretti (Rm), Napoli, Portici (Na), Caserta, Avellino, Bari, Lecce, Potenza, Tito Scalo (Pz), Tramutola (Pz), Lamezia Terme (Cz), Catania, Palermo, Iglesias (Ca).
