Roma, 3 settembre 2021 – La persona con disabilità che troverà il proprio posto riservato occupato potrà parcheggiare nelle linee blu senza pagare. È una delle novità più importanti contenute nel decreto Infrastrutture approvato ieri, giovedì 2 settembre.
“Oggi compiamo un altro passo in avanti verso l’effettivo diritto alla mobilità e accessibilità delle persone con disabilità”, ha affermato il Ministro per le Disabilità Erika Stefani sulla nuova misura approvata in Consiglio dei ministri.
Il decreto prevede inoltre di assegnare ai vari Comuni la facoltà di riservare le aree di sosta, a carattere temporaneo oppure permanente, alle vetture che trasportano disabili. Proprio per questa ragione all’interno del provvedimento si parla anche di incentivi per le amministrazioni comunali, al fine di garantire la sosta gratuita anche nelle aree blu a quelle persone con handicap che non hanno trovato parcheggio nelle zone di sosta riservate.
In arrivo anche multe più salate per chi non rispetta le nuove regole, con sanzioni che vanno dai 168 e 672 euro.
“Questa misura si aggiunge anche alla previsione degli aumenti delle sanzioni per chi occupa abusivamente i parcheggi riservati e alla recente istituzione della piattaforma nazionale dei contrassegni, che ha tagliato la burocrazia e gli inutili adempimenti, nel passaggio da un Comune all’altro, per le persone con disabilità. È un bel risultato di squadra: ringrazio il ministro Giovannini per la sensibilità dimostrata e l’Anci per la collaborazione messa in campo”, ha concluso il Ministro.
