5 agosto 2020 – La Ministra del lavoro Nunzia Catalfo ha annunciato, in un post su Facebook, l’apertura del confronto tra le parti per arrivare alla sottoscrizione di un contratto collettivo per la tutela dei cosiddetti “rider”.
Dapprima, in qualità di Presidente della Commissione Lavoro del Senato e in seguito come Ministro del Lavoro, Catalfo si è sempre interessata a questo tema in continuità con l’azione svolta dall’ex Ministro del dicastero Luigi Di Maio al Ministero del Lavoro. Uno dei suoi primi atti è stato infatti proprio quello di introdurre nell’ordinamento italiano una disciplina rivolta ai lavoratori della gig economy e in particolare ai ciclo fattorini impegnati nella consegna di beni e cibo a domicilio attraverso piattaforme digitali. “Una disciplina che estende loro alcune tutele tipiche del lavoro subordinato, come quella contro gli infortuni, e che si è rivelata ancor più importante nel periodo più acuto dell’emergenza Coronavirus in cui questi lavoratori hanno avuto un ruolo essenziale. Adesso, per la Ministra, va fatto un ulteriore passo in avanti.
I lavoratori chiedono una retribuzione oraria ed un orario minimo garantito, il diritto di ferie e tutela della malattia. Scrive la Ministra: “Sono certa che con un dialogo aperto e costruttivo fra le parti sociali si potrà giungere alla stipula di un accordo in grado di assicurare ai rider un quadro di tutele certe ed effettive e, al contempo, garantire una genuina concorrenza in un settore in costante evoluzione. Come Ministro seguirò attentamente il cammino di questo confronto, assicurandomi che porti alla definizione di un’intesa positiva per tutti i soggetti coinvolti”.
