Roma, 26 ottobre 2021 – I dati dell’ultima settimana di controlli effettuati nella provincia di Latina nell’ambito del progetto “Alt caporalato”, condotto in collaborazione con il Ministero del Lavoro e con l’Organizzazione Internazionale per le Migrazioni, non lascia spazio a dubbi su quale sia l’effettivo stato dell’arte in fatto di sfruttamento del lavoro e l’altro tema direttamente connesso, la sicurezza e le malattie professionali: tra il 18 e il 22 ottobre una task force composta da ispettori del lavoro di Latina, Perugia, Roma e Forli-Cesena hanno controllato complessivamente 24 aziende agricole sparse sul territorio provinciale. Allo «screening» ha partecipato anche personale dell’Inail, dell’Inps e della Asl pontina, con l’ausilio di mediatori culturali messi a disposizione dall’OIM. Tutte le attività imprenditoriali controllate sono risultate irregolari su diversi fronti: lavoro nero, violazione in materia di orario di lavoro, sicurezza sul lavoro, normativa anti-Covid. Un vero e proprio disastro emerso dalla verifica puntuale di 251 posizioni lavorative, 171 delle quali relative a lavoratori provenienti da Paesi extracomunitari. Quattro attività imprenditoriali sono state sospese perché occupavano lavoratori completamente in nero; tra i 19 braccianti «invisibili» complessivamente impiegati dalle quattro aziende sospese c’era anche un minorenne di nazionalità indiana. Nell’ambito delle stesse operazioni di controllo sono emerse numerose violazioni in materia di sicurezza sul lavoro, sul rischio e la prevenzione degli infortuni, sulla sorveglianza sanitaria e l’igiene nei luoghi di lavoro. Alcune aziende sono risultate prive di servizi igienici e di locali idonei per la mensa, di spogliatoi e di locali per il riposo dei braccianti.
