Roma, 16 giugno – Le battaglie dell’ANMIL proseguono inesorabili per tutelare le vittime di infortuni sul lavoro, le vedove e gli orfani dei caduti. Battaglie che denunciano la mancata sicurezza e gli incidente che caratterizzano il mondo del lavoro. Franco D’Amico, responsabile dell’ufficio statistico Anmil, Sandro Giovannelli, direttore generale Anmil, e Zoello Forni, presidente nazionale Anmil, sono stati intervistati, martedì 15 giugno, da Giulio Sensi, giornalista del Corriere della Sera, per avere un loro riscontro in merito alle vittime della famigerata ripresa economica. “Non giriamoci intorno: le notizie dei tanti infortuni mortali di questi giorni – afferma D’Amico – fanno temere. La nostra paura è che la ripresa economica del post-pandemia venga pagata a caro prezzo di vite umane”. Ad avvalorare le parole di D’amico, vengono riportati i dati degli infortuni mortali che hanno visto un aumento del 60% nei primi 4 mesi del 2021 rispetto all’anno precedente. A conclusione del suo discorso sottolinea come i settori maggiormente esposti in questi mesi siano stati, ovviamente, quello sanitario, dovuto alla pandemia, e quello dei settori maggiormente produttivi come l’edilizia, la metallurgia e l’agricoltura. Un piccolo commento, nel corso dell’intervista, ha riguardato anche la politica, in quanto, secondo il parere di Sandro Giovannelli: “…nel decreto sostegni bis è prevista una maggiore spesa per l’assunzione di tecnici della prevenzione e medici nelle Regioni. Sono proprio i livelli regionali ad avere maggiori responsabilità nell’esercizio dei controlli, perché l’Ispettorato del lavoro a livello nazionale si occupa di grandi rischi e di grandi realtà produttive”.
Quello che ANMIL si prefigge di ottenere è quello di lanciare un messaggio chiaro: occorre investire in sicurezza ed aumentare la consapevolezza attraverso la testimonianza di persone che portano addosso i segni degli incidente, fisici e psicologici, in quanto, come ha ribadito il Presidente nazionale Zoello Forni nel corso dell’intervista al Corriere della Sera: “L’ansia della ripresa non può far trascurare l’attenzione alla sicurezza”.
