7 gennaio 2020 – A seguito del sequestro di un mezzo/ambulanza, e degli operatori sanitari che vi prestavano servizio, avvenuto ieri all’ospedale di Loreto Mare e denunciato ancora una volta dall’Associazione “Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate”, è stato deciso di dotare le ambulanze di Napoli di videocamere e di introdurre nuove pene per punire il sequestro di un mezzo ospedaliero. La decisione è stata comunicata oggi stesso dal Ministro degli Interni Luciana Lamorgese.
Tuttavia, gli episodi di aggressioni a personale e mezzi di soccorso non avvengono solo Campania, ma sono un “problema di carattere nazionale”, dichiara Mario Balzanelli, Presidente del Sis 118, che ricorda “Il 3 ottobre, a Rossano Calabro, subito dopo aver constatato il decesso di una donna furono sequestrati in casa, dai parenti di una donna morta di arresto cardiaco, due operatori del 118. A Taranto, il 13 novembre, è stata incendiata una ambulanza. A Pontedera, il 10 dicembre, una infermiera del 118 è stata aggredita durante un intervento per una lite familiare. A Crevalcore (Bologna) un autista-soccorritore del 118 è stato picchiato a sangue da un paziente con disturbi psichiatrici. A Sassari, il 2 gennaio è stata bruciata una ambulanza del 118. A Milano, il 3 gennaio, un soccorritore e l’ambulanza sono stati presi a calci e pugni da un uomo in stato di ebbrezza”. Tra le cause, “i ritardi nelle tempistiche di arrivo e la mancanza di personale medico e infermieristico a bordo del mezzo”. Per far fronte al problema quindi occorre anche “riformare il Sistema, potenziandolo in tutte le sue componenti”. Inoltre, conclude, “le telecamere andrebbero apposte anche sulle divise degli operatori”.
