4 aprile 2022 – Davide Scanio aveva 32 anni compiuti da poco, lavorava come operaio dell’azienda Cavalleri, che si occupa di produrre imballaggi a Rivalta Scrivia (Alessandria). Un macchinario con il quale stava lavorando lo ha agganciato e sbattuto a terra violentemente sabato 2 aprile. Dalle prime ricostruzioni, la morte di Davide Scanio sarebbe stata immediata.
Al coro, ormai tristemente ripetitivo nel nostro Paese, di condanna di fronte al perdere la vita sul posto di lavoro si è aggiunta, per Davide, la voce del Sindaco di Rivalta Scrivia Alberto Basso: “Non sappiamo ancora bene come sia andata. Di certo, siamo tutti sconvolti. Davide, anche se da poco trasferito da noi, era conosciuto. Bello, giovane, faceva sport, aveva molti amici, si è fatto volere bene. Assurdo se ne sia dovuto andare così. I riscontri investigativi daranno risposte precise ai dubbi che ancora ci sono, magari una fatalità, una mancanza di prescrizioni in materia di sicurezza. Resta il fatto – aggiunge il, primo cittadino – che, nel 2022, perdere la vita sul posto di lavoro a 32 anni è inaccettabile. Appena possibile organizzeremo, come Comune, un’iniziativa per ricordarlo”.
Sui social continuano a moltiplicarsi da due giorni i ricordi dei molti amici del 32enne. Un commiato straziante che mette ancor più l’accento sull’ingiustizia delle morti sul lavoro, sul bollettino italiano di una guerra che non accenna a placare la sua ferocia.
