Roma, 27 magio 2021 – Un operaio di 60 anni di Orta Nova (Foggia), impegnato in lavori di manutenzione a una cappella in un cimitero, è morto dopo essere caduto da una impalcatura, precipitando da quattro metri di altezza. A quanto si apprende, è stato lo stesso proprietario della cappella, che si trovava sul posto per controllare i lavori, ad accorgersi dell’accaduto e a chiamare i soccorsi.
Luigi Sbarra, segretario generale della Cisl, a proposito ha commentato: “Ci siamo mobilitati nelle settimane passate e continueremo a farlo nei prossimi giorni”, in riferimento alla manifestazione dei sindacati prevista per domani a Montecitorio a Roma.
“Pensiamo che il governo – ha spiegato a margine del consiglio generale della Cisl Firenze-Prato – debba assumere questo tema come una grande priorità, concentrando risorse ed investimenti per assumere ispettori nel lavoro, medici del lavoro, investire nella ricerca, facendo alzare questa cultura della sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro che non può essere vissuta come un costo ma come un grande investimento per la qualità del lavoro, per la stabilità del lavoro, per la tutela del lavoro”.
