5 maggio 2022 – Su iniziativa della Senatrice Tatjana Rojc, venerdì 13 maggio alle ore 10.00 avrà luogo presso il Chiostro del Convento di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva a Roma il Convegno “Amianto e mesotelioma: tutti innocenti?”.
Saranno discusse le motivazioni d’inversione di una giurisprudenza che sembrava consolidata esponendo le evidenze biologiche ed epidemiologiche delle malattie asbesto-correlate.
Scopo del Convegno sarà verificare se permangono opinioni scientifiche divergenti su questi argomenti e quale peso esse abbiano nei tribunali dove sono proposte come controverse.
Il Convegno sarà articolato in due tavole rotonde. La prima, presieduta da Maria Luisa Clementi di Epidemiologia & Prevenzione e Fulvio Aurora di AIEA (Associazione Italiana Esposti Amianto) sarà dedicata al tema del “Consensus biologico ed epidemiologico consolidato” e la seconda, presieduta da Giuliana Busto di AFEVA (Associazione Familiari Vittime dell’Amianto) ed Enzo Ferrara di Medicina Democratica, sarà improntata su “Le evidenze scientifiche delle malattie da amianto nelle aule di giustizia”.
